Hey, y'all. I'm back again for a bit. What's the verdict on Apartment Life, for those who can get it working fine? I got it just a few days ago but haven't had a chance to use it, and expansions typically treat me fine. No problems or bugs.

So, what do you think of it? Good EP? Nothing new? Apartments have been very high on my wish list since the original Sims, so I'm very excited to try it.

Note: This is not a thread for technical complaints, and I see there's a thread like that around anyway. Just your gameplay impressions.

I do love this expansion, and the only thing new is the fact they give you more clothing options that had come with Free Time. Mostly for the girls, but I do love the new styles that came with the game. The apartment puppy is so cute too!!
You get Helicopters now, and one is pink!
YAY!!

I do think you shall enjoy it, my only problem is I can't move my created sims in the lots with premade families living there. But other than that I love this expansion.

I have it, but I haven't installed it yet.  Same with BonVoyage.  I have a plan to endanger my laptop, keep it off my network, and install every Sims EP I have, including BonVoyage and AL on my laptop and see if SecuROM destroys my videos and mp3s, while my desktop remains safely as it is, just up to Seasons loaded on it and all my multimedia safe.

I just haven't been in a hurry to do this experiment.  When I've been feeling good lately, I've been house cleaning.

Hello.  I've loaded the Apartments ep a couple of weeks or so ago. No problems to date, with CC or avi creations (like the Mt Dew video.  And there are some nice maxis clothing inclusions of a witchy/gothy style as a big pleasent suprise   oxoronnie

Cool! Glad to hear everyone's happy with it so far. I think I'm going to try it out today, along with all the beautiful new clothes I've gotten from here!

the apartments are looking too small (i tried 3 or 4 of these though), realy wondering how to reach social groups and magic spells. I made a witch friend but no interaction to learn a spell yet.

I haven't even met a witch yet.. It pisses me off that SIMs who are NPC get to edit the walls placement and stuff of their homes when we cant.

I like the size of some of these apartments, feels real in a way. But I am going to be making an apartment complex in my game, as soon as I figure out which lot means what.
