Hey all,
I have developed a series of mods that allow EA outfits to be compatible for both male and female sims. How does it work you may ask? It is essentially a small mod file that allows the EA skin to be wearable by both male and female sims. Naturally, I have chosen only those that will look natural on a male frame, specifically adult bottoms which will require a Simmergirl top, teen bottoms which will require a Simmergirl top, and child and toddler skins. I have completed separate mods for each expansion pack minus "bon voyage". I would like to post them, but there is no section specifically set aside for mods/hacks. Ideally, such a section could be created and I would be more than happy to post those mods therein (the Simmergirl skintone changer would be appropriate there too! Hint! Hint!) Comments are welcome. Thanks for your consideration! GS |

Actually, the Misc section does exist here, which is where the skintone changer and a few other things are. I think that would be a great place for your mods, which I'd love to see!

Hey Selina,
I completely forgot that there was a Misc. section when I initially tried to upload my mods . The probable reason is that when I clicked on the drop-down box for what category I was uploading the mods to, there was no appropriate category listed which prompted me to write the blurb above. Have any suggestions? Thanks again, GS |

I'm looking forward to see your work GS and it's a great idea to have something like this. As Selina mentioned we have a misc-section. it was done this way to avoid making a lot of sections with no data in it. But I liked the suggestion and have made a mods section for mods here: http://simmergirl.com/entry_sub_category.asp?SubID=40 In case something else doesn't fit in or someone have a suggestion for better organization then let us know (at least I can consider it - not promising anything)

Pauline, you are now like Buffy, you are the chosen one. As in chosen to go to the graveyard - the Sims2 Graveyard, that is! (Relax, stop sweating already!) The graveyard is one of the most useful and brilliant sim sites ever! I don't know what we did before it existed. (Oh yeah, I remember...swear, cry, beat our heads against monitors, etc, because we couldn't find stuff anymore...) Shaklin's site is no more, which you've probably already discovered. The graveyard's front door is here but what you want for now is the Shaklin area which is here and specifically you'll be clicking where it says: shaklin_model_animation_changer.rar |

I found this program, called the wardrobe wrangler here: http://www.djssims.com/index.php?category=1&subcat=5 you can use it to change the gender of clothing and accessories. I have used it for some things, with turtlenecks and other high collars, the neck gap is not visible, that is what I used for that fur coat I showed you. And some cute outerwear outfts I found at All About Style in the female section that are turtlenecks and with scarves that look really cute.
